Open aired and fully under cover, our rink can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. Plus great sessions for toddlers and SEN evening for a much quieter skate.

\nWe offer more than one way to meet the man himself Father Christmas this festive time! Meet Santa in his Grotto, have Breakfast or Tea with him \u2013 or have an Exclusive Bookable Toddler Session or SEN session to meet him at the quietest of times for that extra special experience.

\nSanta invites you, your family and your furry four-legged friend to enjoy Afternoon Tea with Santa Paws at Whilton Locks Garden Village. Watch the excitement build as everyone joins in, to welcome Father Christmas. A delight for people and pooches of all ages! Tea with Santa Paws will be held in The Potting Shed Restaurant, where our jolly Santa will be wandering around and able to talk to all his special visitors. A delightful experience for the whole family.

\nWe\u2019ve brusseled, we mean rustled up some tasty festive treats in Canalside this Christmas. From Turkey with all the trimmings, to a festive afternoon tea – we have lots of yummy food to choose from! Parties and groups will be catered for, as well as family meals too.

\nLet your creativity run free with our Christmas crafts workshops. From wreath making to peg angels and pot painting, we will provide all you need for these fun craft sessions. All you need to bring, is your creativity!

\nFather Christmas will be joining us in our magical sensory grotto. Each child will be given a premium gift \u2013 providing they are on the nice list of course. There will be low slot numbers to allow extra time to take in all of the sensory aspects of our magical Grotto, so early pre-booking is recommended. PLUS you can join the fun at our exclusive SEN ice skate. You and your children can enjoy the ice and can either use full traditional skates, twin bladed ice skates for added stability or over shoe grippers (size depending). During our Super SEN skating sessions, push chairs and wheel chairs will be allowed on the ice.
\nIt\u2019s a chance for the whole family to enjoy some quality time together with low levels of music, absolute minimal queuing and the opportunity when booking online to tell us everything we need to know about your child to ensure they enjoy their visit, i.e. any \u2018dos and dont\u2019s\u2019 for your child, any specific interests to help your child feel at ease and anything else that we will need to be aware of.

\n(4th, 11th, 18th December)
\nJoin the fun and bring your little ones for an exclusive Parent and Toddler ice skate. You and your young children, aged 4 and under, can enjoy the ice and can either use full traditional skates or twin bladed ice skates for added stability. Pushchairs are allowed on the ice for these sessions too! Adults can use traditional ice skates or over shoe grippers. All Skate Aids \u2013 Penguins and Banana\u2019s will be available on the ice and FREE of charge. We recommend a ratio of one adult to one toddler on the ice. A maximum ratio of 2 toddlers to 1 adult is permitted. If the ratio of toddlers to adults exceeds a level that we believe may be a risk we reserve the right not to allow you on the ice.
\nPLUS join in the fun with our exclusive Toddler Santa visits, these special visits are for younger children and offer the opportunity to pre-book a timeslot to see Santa, with no queuing. These timeslots offer fast-track entry into Santa\u2019s Grotto and are available in very low numbers \u2013 so book to secure your time.
