Talking of Frozen, Elsa will be making a return to Whilton Locks Garden Village throughout Christmas for Afternoon Tea and if you do not think it is too early you can even head over to the booking section to secure tickets – Elsa always proves very popular, so early booking is recommended.

Santa will be here both for Breakfast with Santa, in our Canalside restaurant and later in the day in his magical grotto.

Familiar favourites such as Frosty the giant inflatable bouncy snowman, festive fayre in Canalside and simply stunning Christmas displays all make WLGV a fabulous place to visit during the winter months. Stay tuned for news of special events via both our website and social media.

But hey, it’s a long way off isn’t it? Actually no – but a heads up for one particular special event for the weekend of November 25th and 26th – that’s exactly one month before the big day itself. Whilton Locks will be hosting a festive family fun weekend with a whole host of FREE fun activities such as face painting, cuddle sessions – even Frosty the giant inflatable bouncy snowman will be FREE that weekend. Tickets for real ice, ice skating will be 25% off for the whole of the weekend so early booking to secure tickets is really advised.

So you might think it’s ho ho ho-nly August – but as I write (August 30th) Christmas day is just 116 days away – that’s 17 weekends. Eeeek!
