Ice Skating Northampton

Whilton Locks Garden Village — Tue, 02 Dec 2025 08:25:59 +0000

Ice Skating at Whilton Locks Garden Village, Northampton, this Christmas.

Stickman, oh Stickman,
What do you think?
It’s here just for Christmas,
It’s our real ice, ice rink!

“I love it,” says Stickman,
“It is really great.
It is super fun,
For the family to skate.”

Oh, wait a minute Stickman.
Are you the real deal?
Let’s look a bit closer,
Come here, let me feel.

Hmm, mistaken identity,
Oh what the frig?
We thought you were Stickman,
But you are just a twig.

Oh Twigman, oh Twigman,
It cannot be true.
But, we are so inclusive,
And we loved your review.

A Stickman, a Twigman,
Sprigman or cahoots,
You’re ALL welcome at our place,
And please bring your offshoots.

We’ve counted the coppers and sorted out the silver from our Small World Lemax display at Christmas and we are so pleased to announce you raised £740.00 for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice in Northampton, who provide specialist palliative care to adults with life-limiting illnesses.

It just goes to show how your small change can make such a big difference. Thank you to all those that donated and visited over the festive season.

And IF you need something to hum all day – check out the video: https://fb.watch/iq3jEVZLrt/ on our Facebook page from the Christmas display.

Merry Junemas!

Whilton Locks Garden Village — Thu, 23 Jun 2022 10:00:24 +0000

We welcomed a very special guest to Whilton Locks recently. It was Santa.
Sorry, Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanta! That’s better!

Santa, trying to keep a low profile with his bright red suit in his bright red car, was enjoying the fabulous weather, with one of his elves, and stopped off to tell us all about Junemas.

Junemas is 25th June and means that 2022 is exactly half way through, as we take the turn from remembering Christmas 2021 and head towards the excitement and anticipation of Christmas 2022. He also said it was only 183 days to Christmas Day! Ho ho oh Santa!

So with Christmas officially on its way we are pleased to unveil our Christmas Winter Wonderland Events for 2022 with Bookings NOW OPEN.

Claim the best dates and the very best prices, just for you, as Santa said you have been (reasonably) good so far this year.
