There are two wheelchairs, located at our entrance, that are free to use, in different styles from The Escape range. The first design, the Transit, has smaller wheels and is ideal to be pushed, and the larger wheeled chair is perfect to be self propelled.

Both designs of our wheelchairs, plus many others, are available to purchase from Mobility Your Way and come in a number of sizes and colours (ours are very apt being green), they are lightweight and easy to fold for transportation.

Lightdraw Photography and Film are the newest business to move into The Lock House, the big green building located on the left as you enter our driveway.

With two units, a bespoke photo studio and relaxed viewing room, Lightdraw can be found through the main entrance and up the stairs or via the lift on the first floor.

A relaxed, professional, family photography studio, award winning Wedding photographer and a brilliant, welcome addition to Whilton Locks Garden Village.

The Lock House is a brand new build – and building – at Whilton Locks Garden Village. It can be seen on the immediate left as you enter our driveway.

The last remaining units are available to rent now.

What made you establish a showroom at Whilton Locks?
We are an expanding business and are always on the lookout for the next opportunity. When a showroom became available at Whilton Locks Garden Village, we were keen to become part of the community and deliver great service for people in need.

Do you have a particular Unique Selling Point?
There are many options for sourcing products to help when your physical mobility starts to flag or you experience ill health. It’s not something any of us look forward to, or welcome, and we understand that. It is important to speak to knowledgeable people, and our colleagues are highly trained and experienced and have a combined knowledge of over 30 years’ experience in the mobility industry. Together we can help you navigate the choices you may need to make in a world of mobility solutions that may be quite alien to you and your loved ones.
It’s so important to retain independence, but as safely as possible and that’s what we want for you too. Many people buy cheaply online and regret it so we want to help you avoid this.

Can you offer home visits?
We can come to your home for any mobility product to make life easier, from walkers to riser recliner chairs, and don’t forget we do stairlift surveys too. It’s very important you try before you buy on things like scooters and wheelchairs. We will make sure you’re properly assessed and measured for whatever you need and that you’re happy with the quality.

Peta, brow mummy, says. “Oh it’s pronounced like Peter as my dad was called Peter so I’m guessing I was named after him and assuming he wanted a boy, but got me instead, although being a proud and stubborn Yorkshire man he would never actually admit it!! I sadly lost my dad a few years ago and it altered my perspective, life is short, do what you love, so here we are. Following a dream, a passion, doing the thing that we love!!! I am trained and qualified in microblading and HD Brows and Brow sculpting, including lamination, tinting and waxing.”

Lily, lash daughter, thought she wanted to follow a career in horses, however after a short time at college she realised horses was only ever meant to be a hobby for her. So she ditched the wellies and decided to train in something else she was passionate about, beauty! Lily is trained and qualified in all things lashes, lash extensions and lash lift.
