Guide To Feeding Pond Fish

In the summer when the water temperature is 50 °F (10 °C) or above, Fish can feed up to four times a day. Never feed more than they can consume within two minutes. It is better to feed in small portions so everything is eaten, this will prevent waste and pollution.

Autumn/winter and spring only feed once per day
When the water temperature drops to 10°C or below feed your fish on Wheatgerm. Wheatgerm is rich in fibre, and fish find it easier to digest in low temperatures.
When the water temperature drops fish lose their appetite, they are less active and find it difficult to digest ordinary food

When the water temperature drops below 45 °F (7 °C), your pond fish will not need feeding. At below freezing temperatures fish become dormant
