“A fantastic event! The wizarding week at Whilton locks exceeded our expectations.
From the moment we arrived and were met at the entrance by a hogwarts prefect ( member of staff) yo the very end, it was so well put together, the staff were in character and remained so, the setting was great and the activities perfect. We had 6 children with us aged 7 – 12 and they all enjoyed the day.
The very reasonably priced sweet stall was great for a treat anf they came away with so many things they had made. Mine laughed and joined in from the start ( the sorting hat!) To the end ( the spell lesson and train). In between there was Floo powder making, quidditch practice, map making, wand making, pumpkin seed planting to mention just a few. The low numbers ensured it was personal, at no time felt busy and the children had the pleasure of you calling them all by their first names throughout. Refreshments for the grown ups was very nice too. Well done Whilton Locks and staff…….we will be back to more events and just to shop and visit the cafe!”
