ICE SKATING PARTIES
It’s bigger, better and icy-er than ever before at WLGV
Open air, fully undercover and with real ice you can experience an exhilarating skate with friends and family.
Our real ice rink can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. We have a team of trained ice stewards who ensure that our rink is safe and well maintained at all times. Free skate hire is included in the ticket price.
The ice skating price structure is as follows:
£8.00 per child (14 and under).
£12.00 per adult (15 +).
£4.00 per penguin skate aid
Each session will start on the hour and last 45 minutes. But we advise arriving early for boot change etc.
There will be 10% discount for groups of ten or more when paid for in a single transaction.
This works out to be £7.20 per child in a group of ten or more, and £10.80 per adult.
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied on the ice by an adult. Please see our terms and conditions for more information.
Whether you can skate, or make a meal out of it, why not finish your Birthday Party with some lunch in our Canalside Restaurant.

Children: Birthday Breakfast which includes a sausage, a rasher of bacon, an egg, a hash brown and baked beans and a squash. £4.99
Adults: Gardeners Breakfast which includes a sausage, a rasher of bacon, an egg, button mushrooms, baked beans, tomatoes and a slice of toast, accompanied by a tea, coffee or orange juice. (Vegetarian option available upon request – please let us know before arrival). £6.99
Lunch Menu
Served from 12pm-3pm
Children: Choice of Chicken Nuggets, Sausages or Fish Fingers with chips or mash and beans or garden peas and a squash. £4.99
Adults: Choice of Homemade Lasagne served with salad with house dressings and garlic bread or Homemade Pie served with chips, garden peas and gravy or Vegetarian Quiche served with chips and a salad garnish, accompanied by a tea, coffee or drink of your choice. £8.99
Afternoon Tea Menu
Served from 3pm
Children: Children’s Afternoon Tea which includes 1 ham sandwich, two jam sandwiches, a christmas cupcake, tortilla chips and treats, with a squash. £4.99
Adults: Homemade scone with a ramekin of raspberry jam and Cornish clotted cream, homemade Victoria sponge accompanied by a tea or coffee. £4.99

Adults Afternoon Tea: A tasty price of £14.99 for two
We’ll spoil you with a selection of sandwiches for two, two chunky homemade scones, ramekins of raspberry jam and Dorset clotted cream, homemade Victoria sponge and homemade lemon drizzle cake. Our High Tea also includes a hot drink for two. Choose from a selection of Douwe Egberts coffee and hot chocolate, Yorkshire tea or a selection of decaffeinated and flavoured teas.

FATHER CHRISTMAS
Santa’s Grotto
There’s no better treat for the little ones (and often big ones!) to see Santa. The main man himself St. Nick, Father Christmas. This year Santa himself has specified some pretty good cheer as he has heard a large number of children have been especially good and, as such, deserve an extra special present from him exclusively at WLGV.Father Christmas will be joining us in our magical grotto, between 11am and 4:30pm. Each child will be given a premium gift – providing they are on the nice list of course. This year, there are two choices of gift from Father Christmas. The grotto is £9.99 per child.

Breakfast with Santa
Santa invites you and your family to a hearty breakfast at Whilton Locks Garden Village. Watch the excitement build as everyone joins in to welcome Father Christmas. A delight for children of all ages and grown-ups too! Breakfast with Santa will be held in Canalside Restaurant, where our jolly Santa will be wandering around and able to talk to all his special visitors. A delightful experience for the whole family. Available from 9:30 until 10:30am.
